航空科学博物館は、総合的な航空思想普及施設です。成田空港を臨むダイナミックな眺望、実物のエンジンやコックピットを見ながら学ぶことができる展示、ボーイング747の大型模型の操縦体験、パイロット訓練用を改修した本格シミュレーターでの体験、SDGsを含めた成田空港の紹介のほか、機内食をイメージしたお食事を楽しめる展望レストラン、約20機の本物の航空機を間近で見ることができる屋外展示場など、見どころ満載の体験型博物館です。

An experiential/exploratory museum where you can learn while having fun.
The Aviation Science Museum is a comprehensive aviation thought dissemination facility. Enjoy dynamic views overlooking Narita Airport, exhibits where you can learn while looking at real engines and cockpits, experience operating a large model of a Boeing 747, experience a full-scale simulator renovated from pilot training, and absorb information on Narita Airport including the SDGs. In addition to the presentations, it is an experiential museum full of attractions, including an observation restaurant where you can enjoy meals inspired by in-flight cuisine, and an outdoor exhibition area where you can see approximately 20 real aircraft up close.

| 9日（日）～8月31日（土） | 企画展示「二宮忠八の飛行器展」 1889年にライト兄弟よりも先に「飛行器」の原理を考案した人物「二宮忠八」を紹介する展示です。二宮忠八の飛行アイディアを具現化したものは小型模型の「カラス型飛行器」と「玉虫型飛行器」であり、実際には資金が足りず実機の開発は叶いませんでした。 この企画展示では当館所有の実物大である再現模型（レプリカ）の玉虫型飛行器を展示することで、二宮忠八のアイディアに迫ります。 |

| 9th to August 31st | Special Exhibition “Chuhachi Ninomiya’s Aircraft Exhibition” This exhibit introduces Chuhachi Ninomiya, the man who devised the principle of the aeroplane in 1889 before the Wright brothers. The flight ideas of Chuhachi Ninomiya were realized in the small models of the "crow-shaped airplane" and the "bead-shaped airplane," but due to a lack of funding, development of the actual aircraft was not possible. In this special exhibition, we will explore the ideas of Chuhachi Ninomiya by displaying a full-size replica of the "jewel-shaped airplane" owned by the museum. |
